Hey guys!

Well these are a few days late, but they are here :-p I wasn't at the meeting on Monday, and I just got the notes from Renee today, so I am going to take my best shot at getting everything down here! We have a meeting this coming Monday-same time, same place!, so feel free to come, as well as a full weekend of events! Hope to see you all shortly! Good luck everyone with studying and getting ready for those awesome finals we love! haha! Thanks Renee for taking the notes while I was away!

I. Call to Order: 7:03
II. Welcome / Introductions:

-Gene Michel from the Suburban Kiwains Club -John from the Santa Rosa Kiwains Club -Brad

III. Reports:

• Inter Club Council: The Staff won the softball tournament last Sat.
• Campus Activities Board: Nothing new to report
• Banquet Committee: It's May 31st. Things are moving right along! Bring some CD's if you want. CKI'ers get there around 5:45pm and others will arive at 6pm! Dinner will be served at 6:30. We will be going to the Kiwanis meetings this upcoming week to advertise and let everyone know about the End of the Year Banquet. IV. Old Business:

-National Youth Service Day: (Sat. April 27th) Amber, Rachael and Eric went. Thanks guys!

V. New Business:

-Spring Training Conference: (Sat. May 4th) Its at UC Davis this year. We will be leaving at 7:00 a.m. and returning late in the afternoon! We will be carpooling with Sonoma State, and eating lunch there, and learning about the organization we all love so much! So e-mail us to sign up!

-ALSO ON MAY 4th: The Kiwanis DCM. If you want to go to an event for a half day, and see how the Kiwanis DCM's are run, you are more than welcome to join me on the 4th! E-mail me if you want to come! It starts at 9:00am-noon! CAN ANYONE COME??

-Day Under the Oaks: (Sunday, May 5th) Volunteering: We need $$ Counters which start at 12 noon to 5pm. We are also looking for some gutsy people to be awesome tour guides! Tour guides start at 9:30am-4pm. Or we can find something else for you to do! Tell us if you can participate any time during the day!

• CLUB MEETING! MAY 6th, MONDAY @ 7pm in room 1592 Emeritus Hall
• Sonoma State CKI event: May 10th: FRIDAY I think its from 10-2. More info at next meeting!

-Human Race: (May 11th) Anyone else want to volunteer for the Human Race? We could team up with Sonoma State! It will be fun!

-Rose Parade: (Sat. May 18th) @ 7a.m.-2pm in downtown SR. We will be getting a free lunch, as well as an awesome stylish T-Shirt! Dress for hot weather (usually)! Its a lot of fun, and we need many more volunteers! So please e-mail us if you are interested in volunteering! And if you already signed up, remember the deal! If you aren't there, I'll come and get ya!

-Bear Cub Bash: Alrighty! I know you have all been waiting to hear about the "2nd Annual Bear Cub Bash".
Here's the info:

•Who: YOU! Yes you, and all of your friends and family are welcome!!! •What: The annual end of the year celebration for the SRJC Circle K Club members, their family as well as Kiwanians and their family and our fellow Circle K'ers are all more than welcome! •Where: The Cantina @ 6:00pm on 4th Street •When: May 31st, 2008 haha... just kidding, 2002 :-p •Why: To see everyone, have a good time, (GET AN INTERCLUB KIWANIANS!!!!) say goodbye to members, say a great big hello to new ones, eat eat eat, and lots more, SO PLEASE, PLEASE clear your calendars and try to make it! Ask other Kiwanians how it was last year, and they should say it was a fun fun time! But this time, we made sure to have a room! So we wont have to shout! :)

-Two Rock and Roll Fundraiser HAS BEEN SCRATCHED, and instead we will be having another social! So the social will be either right after the banquet, or the next day and we will be canoeing and having lots of fun for CKI'ers! We are going to have 24+ hours of pure fun fun fun, so get some rest guys!

-SOCIAL: Canoeing June 1st!
-July 4th in the afternoon, we will be having a fundraiser! More info to come!

VI. Discussion:

-Canoeing: June 1st-2nd 2002, and maybe once again later in the summer!

-Fundraising Ideas: PEOPLE! THINK! We need some good ideas for summer fundraising! E-mail us with cool ideas!

-Silent auction or raffle at banquet? Any ideas?

-Want to be an officer? Even if you don't know how, or haven't been to a meeting, e-mail us PLEASE! WE WANT YOU!

-Yeah! T-Shirts are now here, and have been here! So what are you waiting for? If you want one, let us know! They come in all sizes (I think) so e-mail us! And if you haven't paid, Sean is your man! $13.00
