United Agaist Sexual Assault is a nonprofit oraganization which provides counseling for those that have been sexually assaulted and/or abused, as well as providing education, advocacy, intervention and training.

Testers

One. I sent the survey to all of the four staff contacts I had. In retrospect I think they may have given staff names to be used as testers for the typiacal users section and did not realize there was a difference. By the time I realized this it was to late to try and change it.

Questions

In your opinion, what is the overall tone and feel of the site?
Generally good, however the Home page doesn't say much of anything. We need more language there. What can we do to help with this?

What is the site about?
I get that...it is clear

What was your first impression of the opening screen?
Color is still too dark...I like the visual of the woman/child walking in the sunset...although it would be good to have a male up there as well because we are continuing to perpetuate the myth that only females are sexually assaulted...and men are as well. So, if we could get a male and a teen up there it would be great...some diversity is very important as well for us.

Where did you first click?
Programs

Did you find the site easy to navigate?
Generally yes

Were the pages interesting?
They were ok....but I work the work. I don't like the use of red highlights. I would prefer a different color. I want to stay as much away from Red as possible on this.

Why or why not?
See previous response

What did you like best about the site?
Well, of course this is me...that it is so different from the other. I still feel it is to busy with all of the clicks and turns...but that is me. We have at least something that is manageable and we can work with that is so very important and your investment in us has been huge!

What suggestions for improvement do you have?
Lighten up the colors, try to do something creative with our top regarding the inclusion of males

Were there any links that did not work, images that did not load, typos?
Yes, but I understand why. Didn't get to review typos.

Was any of the information out of place, not where you wanted/expected it to be?
I believe it was consistent.

Could you find information about volunteering or contributing to the organization?
Yes

Describe how you found this information.

Is any information lacking? Was information easy to read?
I want that home page fixed up. I'll be sending you a cut and paste of information that I used in a recent proposal that could be included and language that I really like.

Summary

The answers to the survey seem to fall into three categories. Content issues, which can be fixed by the client. Appearance, which the respondent did not like. Functionally the site works.

Changes

I do not plan to make changes based on this sole response, however the results of the other surveys indicate the need for some changes. While this respondant does not like the appearance of the site, the UASA staff had ample time to evaluate the design and the design was approved.
