Welcome to a world of antiquity and ancient mysteries.
In North Africa, the Nile river runs South, primarily from Lake Tangyanika (or Lake Tana) in the former Ethiopia, to the North. This great river defines the land and culture of Egypt. As the Nile empties into the Mediterranean Sea, it forms a large and fertile delta where upon much of the civilization of Egypt once lived and continues to live. Neighbors to the ancient Egyptians, the Minoans of the ancient Mediterranean, may have been the civilization that gave birth to the legends written of by Homer.
The Blue Nile.
As my studies of ancient Egypt and Bronze Age Mediterranean progress this semester I'll be using this site as a way to reinforce my learning about those areas as well as my HTML.
At the same time, I'll be sharing what I hope will be fun and/or interesting information!
