David Turover is a computer professional with a wide array of skills including system administration, networking, programming, web development, database administration, and geographical information systems.
Having first cut his teeth on the old TRS-80, David has decades of computer experience leading through DOS and Windows 95 to Linux, Windows, FreeBSD, BeOS, Mac, and other systems. Simply using computers wasn't enough, though, so David went to Santa Rosa Junior College to learn how to program them. Discovering new fields in networking, system administration, database administration, and web development, he studied them all and earned over 100 units and twelve skill certificates in SRJC's Computer Information Science program.
David does not merely use computers but theorizes about the possiblities of where computer technology can take us in the future. He keeps an eye on cutting edge technologies while taking the time to master current systems that are more mature and easier to implement in a business environment.
After volunteering for a time as a database developer for the County of Sonoma's Public Works department, David has since found work as a network technician for Advanced Projects International and Silicon Valley North in Petaluma.
