Textures of nature have no equal in their uniqueness. By catching natural texture in a photograph, I can share the experience. I search for textures that have been enhanced by one through all of the ancient elements of our world; earth, air, water, fire. The works play with the viewer’s imagination and unleash their mind to visualize not just the actual image, but the random and interpreted images found inside of the contrast between light and dark areas of the texture. The piece invokes a desire to stroke the print with the expectation the texture could be physically felt.
