What is a Bearcubs Account?
A Bearcubs account is a Google apps for education account that has been branded with the @bearcubs.santarosa.edu domain. With this account you will receive a @bearcubs.santarosa.edu e-mail address, access to Google drive, Google docs, Google sites and Google+. Your mail storage quota will be set at 25 gigabytes. How can I change my Bearcubs Password?
Click the gear icon in the top right.
Select Settings.
If you're on a mobile device, switch to desktop view for the full list of settings.
Open the Accounts tab.
In the 'Change account settings' section, click Change password.
In the new window, enter your current password and your new password.
Make sure you create a unique password to help keep someone from breaking in to your account.

How do I get my Bearcubs account?
You can sign up for a Bearcubs account at http://student.santarosa.edu/apply. You will need your Student ID and your PIN Code in order to apply. You also need to be a currently registered student to apply.
I don't know my Student ID and PIN, now what?
You can recover your Student ID and PIN Code by going to the student portal and selecting the 'I do not know my ID Number' or 'I do not know my Pin Code' links.
What is going to happen to my @student.santarosa.edu account?
January 1, 2013 the student.santarosa.edu server will no longer accept e-mail from off campus, you will still be able to retrieve your e-mail from this server until Summer of 2013. Since mail service will be turned off on this server it is important that you get your new Bearcubs account as soon as possible.
I signed up and can't remember my login information, help!
You can reset your password and obtain your login name by going to the account application page at http://student.santarosa.edu/apply. If you are still having trouble then you can contact the student help desk (http://www.santarosa.edu/it/student/support/) and request this information.
Where do I get support for my Bearcubs account?
Some limited support is offered via the student help desk (http://www.santarosa.edu/it/student/support/ ). They can assist you with resetting passwords, or figuring out your username. For more advanced help you can search the help pages from google. When I log into my Bearcubs account it shows me my other gmail account, why?
If you have not linked your Bearcubs account to your pre-existing gmail account, you will need to log out of all other g-mail accounts before logging into your Bearcubs account. You can find directions on how to link your g-mail account with your Bearcubs account here : http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=69570 This is not a feature supported by SRJC, but is doable.
Help! I forgot my password!
You can reset your password by going to the account application page. You will need your Student ID and PIN code in order to reset your password. After you reset your password, the next time you log into your Bearcubs account you will be required to change your password to something more secure.
